About Paul Victor Jorgensen

Paul Victor Jorgensen is an experienced trial lawyer and appeals attorney who has practiced in numerous states and federal courts – including the highest – from his renovated revolutionary-war-era office in Middletown, Maryland for over four decades. The California Supreme Court recognized him as a licensed lawyer in 1977, after he passed the California Bar and had earned his Juris Doctorate in Law with honors from the esteemed University of Santa Clara School of Law in Silicon Valley, California. Maryland’s highest court recognized Attorney Jorgensen to practice in 1979, after he had also aced the Maryland Bar and had passed and been admitted to the District of Columbia Bar.

The United States Supreme Court admitted Attorney Jorgensen to practice before it in 1983. Appellate courts in Maryland, D.C., and the United States Courts of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and District of Columbia have appointed him to their attorney panels to represent needy or otherwise qualified Defendants.

Attorney Jorgensen has successfully represented hundreds of individuals in a wide range of challenging areas of law, including the following:

  • Family Law
  • Civil Rights
  • Custody Rights and Duties
  • Children’s Rights

  • Biker Rights

All these cases required a dedicated professional who was willing and able to take the time and dedication to learn their cases, and to unrelentingly represent them at any and all levels of an often- frustrating and always-challenging legal system.

Attorney Jorgensen has been lead counsel in at least two dozen reported cases in both state and federal appeals courts that have established precedents that are binding on thousands of other cases. In this role, he has worked both by himself and with other attorneys to achieve the results their clients deserve and expect.

Attorney Jorgensen has emphasized the representation of those who are most vulnerable in our society – children, abused persons, women, and minorities. He is willing to challenge the most wealthy and entrenched governmental agencies and corporations when they engage in wrongdoing. He has connections with multiple civil rights and child protection organizations and professional resources assist in his cases.

Good people sometimes find themselves faced with painful circumstances that can only be resolved in the courts. When you are in such a situation, you need more than a friend to hold your hand – you need someone who is dedicated to you and your loved ones to overcome whatever terrible obstacles life and the law has thrown before you.
